Vitamins and Minerals are building blocks to keep our "foundation" strong. We don't usually find out we need them until we are in an acute health situation. With food products depleted of basic vitamins and minerals, we need to consider supplements.
Vitamins are important compounds needed by the body for structure and function.Vitamins are usually consumed through food, but our food supply is over processed, thus losing important vitamins the body needs. Even if you eat "natural" you may not get enough vitamins. Food is picked before it is ripe, to accommodate shipping, so basic vitamins are depleted.
